Gillott Appraisal Services, Inc. started as a residential firm 35 years ago by John and Doretta Gillott, took the opportunity to expand the business, through experience and education, into a regional, national and international valuation and consulting firm. Both have served on national, regional and local boards and committees associated with the appraisal profession, including the first appraisal board of Florida and national committees related to the certification of appraisers in the US, and have been active in teaching appraisal theory in the US and abroad.
